BetBlocker Android Version 15.9 – Bug Alert!

We have recently identified a bug with version 15.9 of the Android version of BetBlocker. Unfortunately, this bug specifically prevents the app from installing any updates and as such we cannot fix the issue automatically.

The good news is that this impacts only a very small proportion of BetBlocker users. However, those users will have to uninstall BetBlocker and reinstall version 16.0 to address this issue.

Update Android BB

Steps to update BetBlocker Android 15.9 to the latest BetBlocker Android version:

  1. 1. All users with version 15.9 will see a shutdown button:

  3. at the top left of the app screen. When you click on the icon, you should enter the password: "removebb".

  4. 2. Uninstall version 15.9. Some devices may ask you to first remove the app from "Manage device admin apps" (see video).

  5. 3. Open betblocker.org and download the app.

  6. 4. Install the app and set up your restriction again!
